Slice&Slide: A Brand and Website Built for Presentation Experts

Updated: 7 days ago

We were intrigued by the name before anything else. A young company offering professional presentation services, led by its founder Bogdan, reached out to improve their website — under the brand PowerPoint Kung Fu. Naturally, we had questions. The name, while clever in its own way, was also doing the business a serious disservice. “Kung fu” speaks to mastery through practice — which made sense. But “PowerPoint” locked the entire offering to a single tool, despite the fact that they also work with Mentimeter, Slido, Miro, Canva, Photoshop, and more.

The service itself, though, was sharp. They help people turn complex information into clear, compelling stories through smart consulting, structure, and design. Precision, clarity, visual impact — taken to the extreme. All grounded in proper research and a deep understanding of each topic. We love that. There were early signs of an identity — earthy tones, calligraphy brushes, martial arts references — all based on the kung fu idea. There was also a basic website and an Instagram presence, but it all felt more like a sketch than a system. But once we properly understood the full scope of what they actually do (and it did take a moment — the name sent us in the wrong direction at first), it became clear how much that concept was holding them back.

Our first meetings with Bogdan, the creative force behind the business, were all about unpacking this gap.

We explained our perspective, the risks, the limitations, and most importantly — the opportunity that lay on the other side. He wasn't immediately ready to hear it all (fair enough), but he sat with it. And he came back ready to rebuild.

Naming: Enter Slice&Slide

He went off to explore, coming back with name after name after name. We reviewed, we discussed, we pushed back. Again and again, nothing felt quite right. Eventually, we had to step a little outside the agreed scope (as we tend to do when we care too much) and dig through our own ideas. Somewhere between the scraps and half-thoughts, Slice&Slide surfaced — and, at that moment, everything clicked into place. Bogdan got it immediately. The name landed, and he was all in.

What made Slice&Slide perfect was how it reflected their process. Slice captures the essence of cutting through complexity to focus on what matters most. Slide speaks to their expertise in transforming clarity into impactful presentations. Simple, sharp, and to the point. No, we weren’t paid for naming. But helping clients move forward is part of who we are — whether it’s officially included or not. Overdelivering is both our curse and our power. And it’s served us well so far.

Branding

With Slice&Slide in place, everything followed naturally. A clear, flexible name, full of potential — a solid foundation we could build upon. From there, the brand began to take shape, visually, conceptually, and strategically.

The dynamic logo quickly became the face of the brand, echoing its core idea: cutting through complexity to deliver clarity. It's not just an animation, it's a visual statement of their approach — simple, sharp, and effective. The colour palette is bold, modern, and energised, with vibrant, rave-inspired gradients that create depth while staying fresh. This isn’t just about looking trendy — it’s about reflecting a company full of bold ideas and vision, one that’s young, bright, and ready to make an impact. A brand that’s built for the future, with the substance and meaning to back it up.

Website

Bogdan is obviously skilled at handling content and structuring it in a way that makes sense — after all, that’s his job) His brief — the form we usually send to clients at the start of a project — ended up being a 40-page presentation )) Not your typical project kick-off, right? But when it came to the website architecture and content strategy, we took the reins. While he was thinking of pages upon pages filled with every possible detail, we decided to keep it simple: a structure that clearly shows the process and highlights what makes them stand out. Instead of drowning visitors in a sea of information, we focused on creating a streamlined, easy-to-follow structure. If the process is clear to us, it’s bound to be clear to anyone visiting the site.

To streamline consultations and cut down on the endless back-and-forth with incoming leads, we recommended Wix Booking — a tool Bohdan was particularly excited about. It allowed for a much smoother consultation process, making it easier for leads to schedule directly. We use it ourselves and always recommend it to clients.

And as for the visuals? The slice and slide concepts are woven throughout the entire design. The website flows seamlessly, giving visitors a clear, engaging, and smooth experience that mirrors the brand’s commitment to clarity, precision, and style.

We've armed yet another driven professional with everything he needs to elevate his ambitions — and believe us, these aren't just pipe dreams; they're rooted in impressive skills and tangible accomplishments. Bogdan is not just a creator of impactful presentations; he's also a speaker, leading masterclasses and training teams across the globe.

He’s even planning to launch a school dedicated to teaching the art of presentation mastery.

With his digital and offline presence now fully aligned, we've built an identity that not only reflects the caliber he strives for but amplifies it. This wasn’t just a brand upgrade — it’s a fresh chapter, an entirely new dimension for him, brought to life by our own hands, designed to fuel his future.
